APPLE SALAD

  • 5 Fuji apples, cored and cubed
  • 4 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 2 tsp. poppy seed (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans/walnuts (optional)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 T. orange juice
Combine apples, celery, pineapple, raisins, marshmallows, poppy seeds, and nuts in a bowl.  Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar and orange juice.  Pour over salad and stir gently to combine.  Makes 12 servings.  NOTE:  Salad can be made the day before.  The apples won't brown because of the orange juice!
