Special Edition

Do you buy videos and DVDs? We just got a DVD player and have only a few movies so far. Randy bought one that was so bad that we cannot make it through watching the entire movie. Well, Starship Troopers was pretty good so the #2 would be good, right? No. The only character in both movies, died in the first one and came back to life as a different character in the second.

Randy got two movies the other day and both say Special Edition. Translation? Okay, the one means wide screen. Difficult to watch and a waste of time and effort on someone's part. Just wish they'd quit that. But worst was the last movie Randy found. Sure it said Special Edition and it was indeed wide screen but to know what else that meant, you'd have to read all the fine print on the back side. There are 1 1/2 hours of how they made the movie and there are lots of lousy clips of the movie but there is no movie. And only by reading the contents do you finally realize they have packaged something with no movie whatsoever. Two long discs and no movie at all. Surprise.

So, be careful what you buy and buy only when you can read the entire package.
