I learned basic Yorkshire cookery from
my maternal grandma and my mother. However, that wasn't
enough for me and I began to collect and avidly read cook books of all
kinds. I watch lots of TV cookery and have trawled more
cookery sites on the net than I can remember. I am always
looking for ways to improve. My very favourite is baking,
bread, scones, cakes, biscuits (US cookies). Problem is now all
my children have flown the nest and its only me and hubby, but I still
bake even if its only to give it away.
