BISQUICK BAKING MIX

  • 10 cups flour

  • 1/3 cup baking powder

  • 1 T. salt

  • 2 cups shortening (solid vegetable shortening like Crisco or a generic brand)

 Mix dry ingredients together and then cut shortening into dry ingredients until well mixed.  Store in gallon jar for up to six months with a bay leaf on top.  Can be used in any recipes that call for Bisquick!  Easy and economical!!
