HAM AND PASTA BAKE

  •  1/4 cup flour

  • 1 T. dried minced onion

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1/2 tsp. ground mustard

  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

  • 2 1/2 cups milk

  • 1 pkg. (16 oz) frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and drained

  • 2 cups cubed fully cooked ham

  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

 Topping:

  • 2 T. butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

In a medium saucepan, combine the flour, onion, salt, mustard and pepper.  Gradually stir in milk until blended.  Bring to a boil.  Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.  Stir in broccoli, macaroni, ham and cheese.  Put in an greased 2 qt. baking dish.  For topping, combine butter and bread crumbs.  Sprinkle over macaroni mixture.  Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
