This is a marker using page but it has the index for the crafts section, oooh beads....There are many areas of information. Folding pages, Easy pages, and look for Peek A Boo pages.

Making Wreath and Basket appliqué items

http://www.fiskarscrafts.com/

Look at the top of the page for "Projects" and when that page opens, look on the left side of the page and choose the section you wish. Then take your pick of those projects. The directions are complete with photos and complete information.

http://sew-whats-new.com/

Grandma's Treasure Box Chair. Printable pattern. With my new DSL, I had no trouble getting around. This site is part of a yahoo group, so it will not work unless you catch it at the proper moment. But visit this page to see the grandma chairs.

http://www.hereandabove.com/

"Diversions & Hobbies" Make your own unique Mazes. Find patterns for Crochet, Cross Stitch and other counted thread crafts. There is a novel section, but there is nothing there. And that hasn't changed in the last year or so. But I just checked again and there were two "novels" added.

http://crafterscatalogs.com/links.html

Be prepared to spend some time because this page is just a list of many, many craft sites and craft supply catalogs. You will find many great sites, ideas and catalogs to order.

http://www.robinsfyi.com/holidays/christmas/christmas.htm

Start getting ready for Christmas. This place will give you lots and lots of great ideas. May even help your attitude get into the proper spirit. Many great projects and wonderful projects and recipes.

http://www.allthingschristmas.com/

This is a Yahoo website but not geocities; which seems to mean there is none of the Yahoo advertising. You will probably become attached to new mailing lists though. Lots of Christmas goodies. Fun projects to help with gift ideas. Lots of puzzles and humor, cool printable and much more.

http://www.1stopfreeshop.com/craftpatterns.htm

This site is a listing of free pattern sites and much more. Some freebies are printable, some download, and there are many free catalogs for when you want to order products. Most impressive place to visit.

http://www.herrschners.com/

If you enjoy crafts, you will have fun looking around this site. Half an hour after opening, I was still finding interesting topics to follow. I signed up for one of their free printed catalogs, The Yarn Shoppe but there are many to chose from; then I signed up for their E-Specials. They send you an email to let you know of specials, new products and previews. Awesome!

http://www.anniesattic.com/

Get a free catalog from Annie's Attic. Crochet projects and more. Check out the site. Cool keepsake potholders! There is an offer for you to get a free copy of the magazine Crochet

http://www.handsoncrafts.org/001.htm

I got "my hands dirty" in the clay studio and didn't get to check out any other studios. This is a really nice website. Spend some time and a person could really learn a lot!

http://www.weavingsupplies.com/

This is the Joy of Learning site. They have the giant looms that cost over $1,000 and then they have a complete line of the small looms in project kits, the old-fashioned loops and loom for making pot holders.

http://www.weavingworks.com/

Weaving Works sells lots of books, supplies and has classes covering a wide range of topics. Basketry, Crochet, Dyeing, Felting, Knitting, Papermaking, Spinning, Weaving. Some of their links no longer work but it is worth the time to look around.

www.zwool.com

Zeilinger Wool Co. processor of sheep wool, angora goat hair (mohair), rabbit hair (angora), llama, alpaca, dog hair, and other exotic animal fibers. We can turn your own fibers, such as wool, into comforters, mattress pads, bed pillows, quilts, batting for felting and crafting. All additional fibers can be processed for spinning and weaving. We also sell wool filled comforters, mattress pads, pillows, quilts, bedding accessories, wool fabrics, knitted hats, rovings, and sheep related crafts.

The above paragraph is on the opening page of their website and pretty much says it all. Easy to use site for when you need such things.

http://Patterncentral.com

This site sells patterns and has many for crafts, sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting and embroidery. In years past, this company had the cute little ad in the newspaper where you could order by mail. Sign up and get their free monthly email newsletter.

http://www.deltacrafts.com/

Delta makes all kinds of supplies but their site has extensive sections of Creative Crafting. They have a wide selection of art and craft supplies. For sale of course. Sign up for their free monthly newsletter to stay up on the latest products, projects, tips and ideas. 100s of project ideas. A fun place to browse.

http://clothdollconnection.com/FreePatterns.html

This site is much more than just free patterns. There are many different links to patterns and also hints and tips. This will inspire me to fix my sewing machine and get busy on some interesting projects!

http://www.coatsandclark.com/

Coats and Clark is a long time company making sewing notions. Their site has a super selection of free on-line projects and each tells you how much skill is needed. They are their own advertising and have links to sites that sell their products. There are complete descriptions of all their products.

http://www.freeapplique.com/

When you are needing appliqué patterns, this is the place to look. It lists many sites with free patterns but I had signed up for their "free newsletter" and never received anything.

Have you been looking for Burda Patterns? Read this:

http://www.glpnews.com/crafts.html

As you enter the crafts section, choose the sewing page and you will find Burda Patterns. They have lots and lots of catalogs, monthly magazines, knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, kids fashions, plus sizes, sewing for beginners; all Burda fashions and although they are probably worth every penny, they are very expensive.

http://www.simplicity.com

This is the pattern maker and they have lots of catalogs to look through. Many are for sale for those who can afford such things.  Many projects and ideas. I had been in search of more information about Burda patterns; which were said to be carried by Simplicity. There was no mention until I got to the place on their site where they can be contacted and sure enough, there is a topic, Burda Patterns. So, I've got an email question in to them and will see how they reply.

Their reply was received within just a few days! Sure enough! They furnish a form for ordering the Burda pattern catalog since there is no Burda online for ordering. It arrived as an email attachment and answered all my questions.  If you cannot find the right spot, I'll be glad to help.

http://www.hancockfabrics.com/

The page has changed completely since I had last been to visit. The old store I had always shopped in closed down some time ago but the locator page gave me the address of one that is open in town. The web page no longer has a projects page but it is still interesting to read.
