The Wheelbarrow

It was not a good idea to start the tomato small and while it was still so cool out as I did. The plant never grew, the soil didn't not hold enough moisture, it stayed too cool for them to also get cold from below the wheelbarrow. The tomato plants in the ground did finally start growing (as the temps got warmer.) The stop was just right sunshine wise for the tomato but too much for the mint which died first. I could have taken a picture but it would have been of nothing but an old wheelbarrow. An empty wheelbarrow.

The greenhouse was given up again another winter. The heat source is the problem. As I get some fresh spinach seeds, I will plant in the greenhouse as they can stand the freezes. First chore is to be rid of the resident rodent.

The wheelbarrow is still a good idea now that I know how I want to do it different next time. It is so big a hulk that it must have a second life.
