I've been 'away' for a while, I've missed you all, but hope to be a regular contributor again from now on.

Well Spring has sprung here, the snowdrops are just finishing, the daffodils are in full bloom.  I grow all my bulbs (and everything else) in containers, and I've been looking around for my lovely tulip bulbs, but couldn't find them anywhere, I was cleaning out the shed yesterday, and there they were, still in there boxes from last year !  so much going on I forgot to plant them.  I wonder if they will grow if I put them in now ?

Last year a 'wild' cat started hanging around the place (they certainly know where to come)  I'm in the middle of nowhere and he still found me !  anyway its been a long and slow process, but he's gone from spitting and hissing at my every move to now coming when he's called for his food and milk,  I would have liked to get him in the house for winter but didn't quite have all his trust, but I put a wooden box outside the kitchen door with blankets in so he would have warmth and shelter.  He now sits outside the door waiting for his food, I reckon he will come in soon !  He is a lovely tabby, he had an injury to his leg recently and I was worried about him, but he seems to be over it now, not limping any more, I hope the regular supply food helped him to get over it.  My other 7 cats have all accepted him very well, and he sits around outside with them, I think he feels that he 'belongs' somewhere now.

My search for a new home intensifies now, I have to move out by the end of this year, it's difficult to find somewhere as I have so many animals to care for, and I won't leave them or rehome them.
