The above mint plants were moved from the original clumps shown below. They have done well all winter in their protected spot. I make sure now that I water them daily. |
The mint is growing slowly here in the original bed but not where it started. It is emerging strong all around to about 2 feet away. Awesome. |
The periwinkle (Vinca Minor) is another plant considered "invasive" but we have so much space that only grows briar and other mean plants that these beauties are welcome. |
These are the early leaves on the Wall of China trees. Huge trees now sprawling everywhere. We plant to take lots of cuttings next year but will clip the tops so they will make shrubs instead of trees. |
Above and below are photos of the Redbud tree. This year seems a lot less full that previous years. We have not had any good rain in about 6 weeks now. |

These lovelies are everywhere! We're seeing another yellow wildflower and two purple flowering plants. So pretty since we have no lawn or grasses. |
