CRISPY CHEW CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients

1 C Butter or Margarine
1 C Sugar
1 C Brown Sugar
2   Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla extract
3 C All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Hot Water
1/2 tsp Salt
2 C Semi sweet Chocolate Chips
1 C  Coarsely chopped nuts

Directions:

1  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (190 Degrees C)

2.  Cream butter.  Add sugars, cream well.  Beat eggs singly.  Stir in vanilla

3.  Dissolve baking soda in hot water.  Add the batter along with salt.  Stir in flour chips and nuts

4.  Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.  Bake until edges are nicely browned, about 10 min.

Recipe does not say how many it makes  I would guess a couple of dozen at least.
