On the Blister beetles, make a mixture of ground cayenne pepper and tobacco juice.  In a gallon of water put one plug of chewing tobacco, and about 4 tablespoons of ground cayenne pepper.  Bring the water to a boil and strain it.  Let it cool completely, put in a sprayer and spray the plants with it.  It will stay on the plants until the next rain or the next watering.  At that time it will be washed off.
This is good for a lot of plants, and it also is not toxic.
Another way to drive away the Blister Beetles is by planting French Marigolds in with your garden.  They do not like the smell, and they are confused as to which plant is editable.
