Roadrunner, September 2005

This guy decided to check us out! He ran back and forth on the seed table outside our living room window for nearly half an hour. I was so surprised to get plenty of poses and good shots. He never ate any of the seeds, just tried to look inside to see us.

It is most difficult to tell but this looks like a baby Roadrunner. Several time the smaller bird has come up for water with the mother but this guy just appeared the the photos of the above adult male. Go figure.
