10-17-05 (I asked Kathy about the tagging system and our fear of where the cattle have been and what they were fed... why it would not be a good system, Nita)

I totally agree about cattle that are crossing borders, but why does the government need to know how many chickens, goats, sheep or pigs that I own and how many I eat.. why does my home have to have a GPS chip implanted, so they know where I am??? I think the government goes to far in some of the things that they do.

What about the Amish and Mennonites that don't have computer capability because its against their religion. This would mean that they can't own any animals. That's not right either. And, I don't believe that every animal born on my farm needs to have a 15 digit ID number shoved in its ear because the government says so. That's all.

We are in the sunshine and loving it, but its only 70 degrees here. Down to 40's at night. Getting ready for the fall hunting season and the last of the canning and then the peaceful winter where I get to go cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Yeaah!!!!!!!!

Love and Peace...Kathy

The major problem with today's world is that the Rich are greedier than normal and everyone wants to emulate them. People forget to just be themselves and enjoy life. We are only here once before we travel on to heaven. Oh well.. it is indeed a strange world we live in.
