Happy New Year!!!!

Yes I know I am late, I am usually late!

This year is already brighter for many reasons.

Chris is HOME no angst over the Marines getting my boy. I would be proud to have him serve, but I am just as proud to have him home.

He began his first real job today, working at the same place as his dad! He was ready to leave at 530 this morning, though they didnt have to be there until 630!

We are planning the kitchen redo now; this will be our last year for a decent sized tax refund so we figure we need to get it done first.

The check will have to cover various other things too, like a new water heater (why do we call it a HOT water heater, isnt hot water already heated?) As well as a new sink, and cabinets and perhaps some flooring, oh yes and paint!

MJ wishes as well to replace the fridge, washer and dryer, I want to replace them with minis (the washer and dryer anyway) front loaders, so we can build a counter top over them. Unfortunately we can by both washer and dryer for the cost of 1 mini washer!

I am calling today to find out when the Habitat for Humanity store is open, perhaps we can find some of what we need there!

It is so spring like out I am itching to get my garden begun! I hope to have someone tractor the area for me this year, no more hoe work on cement soil!

I will go through my seeds and plan what to put where soon. I will begin them inside next month, but I am tired of rushing everything!

I also need to study the info I got on timing my sewing machines, so I and tinker with my non working one and try to get her working!

Well, laundry is waiting to be hung, its nice to be back!

Hugs yall
