Words of Introduction

Hello! My name is Cindy Teitsort. I live in a small, historic village with my 2 children. Our family also includes Liam- Dalmatian, Gavin- Jack Russell mix, Tristan- English/American Labrador, Gus, Ophelia, Hero and Paige- all indoor cats, Timone and Oscar-Ferrets, Blossom-Dutch rabbit, Bunny-Netherland,  Ewok, Moiré and Liesel- all sisters and Angora, Hermes- Angora,  Nibbles, Lightning and Piglet-Guinea pigs, G. Aurora's  Julieanna and G. Aurora's Black Beauty (aka Baby Boy Beaver)- siblings and Texel Guinea Pigs, Calesta- a Cauyuga duck, Lucy-Indian Runner Duck, Sammy- finch, Anna and Pretty Boy (aka PB&J)-Love Birds.

We live in a twin (that's a house connected to another- they are smaller than a single house) that is over 100 years old. I rent. I would love to own our home but no hooved creatures allowed in the township unless you have 4 acres. We want horses and we certainly don't have even an acre here. We do have a fenced in backyard.  My dream is to own a farm in the country. I think I'd like to raise Alpaca and sell wool- Alpaca and Angora. The vet has given me 3 Alpaca farms to visit. I want to learn the reality of raising and selling Alpaca's and their wool. I'll take you on my journey of discovering another way of hobby farming.
I will also share a lot of stories about my families antics. It never gets boring here; surprisingly the family can be very peaceful at times. It never ceases to amaze me how we can all coincide lovingly in a small twin. The kind of twin that has 1 "Sunday Closet". Then again with 2 teenagers it can be very loud and much sibling rivalry. Families- they are all a story in themselves.
