THE SON IS SHINING
(on my Blue Moons)

During the last few generations, we've heard many songs about Blue Moons.
When we listen to those songs of sadness they bring to our hearts times of gloom.
Though they may be songs to reach us we must be focused on God's holy light
for it will drive those lonely feelings away and insert within us a feeling of right.

Jesus came to be born in human form to go to Calvary and redeem us from sin's guilt
and we must focus on HIM to guide and shepherd us on this Heavenly trip.
So when I get to thinking of blue moons I go to my High Priest in sincere prayer
and I am comforted by the Spirit that it was heard by Jesus seated up there.

In that glory light shining around the throne no sin blood covered can be remembered there,
for Jesus came to die for all sinners and as Shepherd to provide for our daily care.
So, this one thing I want you all to remember: Be comforted for the Spirit is within you
and He guides and guards each one who has Jesus as Savior and helps us to walk true.

MORE THAN A CARPENTER

Jesus was more than a carpenter, and HE was more than a man.
HE was the Promised Messiah the SON of the great I AM.
HE came to show us the secrets of the Holy Way,
and promised to guide us through life until that day.
There, we'll be free of sin and the bad that gets us down.
In Heavens land there will not be one frown.
We are purchased with the blood shed on Mt. Calvary,
given life everlasting and joy internally.
Until we end our lives on this old world below
let us give praise and glory and listen for the horn to blow.
Then we can sing praises standing around the throne
for we'll be newer creatures and all sin will be gone.

NEW SHOES TO FILL

We grew up hearing stories of great people
who filled the need in someone's life,
helping them to be encouraged so that
they could triumph over troubles and strife.

Whether they were farmers, preachers, singers,
or whoever, we knew they were God sent
for they went about doing good deeds
and God blessed them wherever they went.

In time, as it happens to each of us
they passed their mission and legacy on
to others who could fill the needs and
bring glory and honor to God the Son.

They could never fill someone else's shoes
for new ones were sent by God for them
to be all that they could be for God
and help those others to rejoice in HIM.

So now we see the new crop stepping out
to fill the void that other servants left
to bring hope and cheer to all humankind
and help others to abide in God's cleft.

We know they didn't do it for the money
but it's their way of serving in God's will
to help others to grow in their faith
remembering to be yielded and still.

God's work is going on in this old world
through the new servants HE has installed
to carry the good news that God so loved
that HIS SON was sent to save us all.

I HEAR THE BELLS RINGING

One afternoon in my little town while I was taking some moments of quiet,
there came the tolling of church bells that broke the spell of my peaceful site.
They were heard for miles around throughout the country and the town
telling the time to all by the sound waking one and all who were lying down.

Many bells have rung throughout this land of freedom and rights
from before the American revolution warning all of dangerous plights.
Every settler had a bell to send messages to and fro throughout the land
to call the neighbors forth to help a local family clan.

Through all the wars and rumors there were bells ringing too
calling forth everyone around to hear about the happenings new.
It should remind us of bells in glory challenging us
to not be like worldly others but resemble our Jesus.

We have a need in this land for people to stand for whats right
then God will be honored and our land will be a delight.
Many come to this old land because of the opportunities
but they find it evident that God is not well pleased.

Can we shine our light and be to God a sure delight
by living lives morally and depending on God's might?
God has promised and provided everything we will ever need
as we depend on His strength and doing His righteous deed.

LOVE MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Love makes the difference between a husband and wife
and dealing with issues and working through strife.
Love makes the deifference between a family and home
and keeps them all content to never ever roam.
Love makes the difference between religion and faith
and ceases rituals and clings to what Jesus saith.
Love makes the difference between brother and sis
and seals the relationship with a hug and a kiss.
Love makes the difference between love and hate
based on the giving love of God and not fate.
Love makes the difference between pride and loyalty
serving to help new citizens to be part of a nation and family.

GOD'S GREAT STORY

IN OUR BIBLE, WE ARE TOLD
OF MANY PEOPLE VERY BOLD
WHO LIVED AND DIED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS
AND WITNESSED MIRACLES NO LESS.
FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END
OF MANY GREAT WOMEN AND MEN
LOOKING INTO ETERNITY
RELYING ON THE ALMIGHTY.
THEIR FAITH WAS TESTED BY THEIR DEEDS
AS THEY REACHED OUT TO OTHER'S NEEDS.
THEY KNEW FROM WHOM THEIR POWER CAME
T'WAS THROUGH THEIR PRECIOUS SAVIOR'S NAME.
FROM ADAM AND EVE IN EDEN
TO JESUS CHRIST IN THE GARDEN
HEEDING THE WORDS TO ABRAHAM
AND FOLLOWING THE GREAT I AM.

THERE WAS ISAAC AND JACOB TOO
WHO FOUND THEIR OWN LOW WATERLOOS.
THEY DISCOVERED IT NEVER PAYS
TO WALK IN THEIR OWN SELFISH WAYS.
BUT TO WALK A HEAVENLY COURSE
RELYING ON GODS' MIGHTY FORCE
THERE WERE PROPHETS AND PRIESTS AND KINGS
ALL WHO TRULY DID GREATER THINGS.
PLANTING THEIR SEEDS AMONG THE WEEDS
MINISTERING TO OTHER'S NEEDS.
MANY WALKED BY FAITH AS GREAT MEN
SUFFERED EVEN IN THE LIONS' DENS
SHOWING FORTH GODS' RIGHTEOUSNESS
REFLECTING TO OTHERS CHRISTLIKENESS.
THE DISCIPLES SAT AT HIS FEET
LEARNING FOR THE TRIALS THEY'D MEET.

JESUS TAUGHT THEM THE WORDS OF LIFE
TO HELP OTHERS OUT OF THEIR STRIFE.
THE SPIRIT HELPED THEM IN ALL THINGS
TO WORK AND PRAY, TO PRAISE AND SING.
GREAT THINGS GOD WOULD DO THROUGH THEM ALL
IF ON HIM THEY WOULD HUMBLY CALL.
PETER, PAUL, ANDREW, JAMES, AND JOHN
GOD BEGAN TO MAKE THEM LIKE HIS SON.
HE CONTINUES THIS IN US TODAY
AS HE CALLS US TO WALK HIS WAY,
LEANING ON HIS PRESENT COMPANY
UNTIL WE REACH ETERNITY.

PRAISE HIM

I will sing of His mercy
and sweet grace and liberty
for I found it to be so fine
by abiding in the True Vine.
No other place have I found
forgiveness that doth abound
til I came to Calvary
and rested neath that old tree.
So for the rest of my life
I want to ease the strife
that fills others sinful lives
and share divine love that thrives.
Then they can be a sample
of God's love which is ample
to save the lowest sinner
transformed into a true winner.

SAFE HARBOR

It sits in a scenic location that many people come to see.
At the top of the cliffs there is a lighthouse that overlooks the sea.
It has been there for many years-its' condition surely doth so tells.
It has stood guard through the years for the ships upon the sea swells.
It has endured many storms throughout its' guardianship there
sending the light of caution out to ships traveling everywhere.
There have been many who've grown tired of its' dilapidated condition.
They want to destroy that old lighthouse for a new tradition.

Jesus is the Lighthouse on the hill that shines for you and me,
and many there are who would love to tear it down eternally.
They forget that Jesus was before all else began to be
for after all, HE created it from in past eternity.
That doesn't matter to many people who do not believe
so they live on their thinking which will deceive.
They try to deceive others in believing in evolution
spreading the lies for an educational revolution.
Thus they hope to tear down all about values and family
but they will not get by GOD and judgment in eternity.
Therefore, we MUST stand up for the LIGHTHOUSE which is CHRIST
and be willing to be shunned and shamed for the ONE who paid the price.

SING A SONG TO THE LORD Psalms 92

It's good to have a soul song to sing
and thank the Lord for everything.
Just look at HIS creating by HIS hand
and breathing life into the first man.
Look at the sunrise and the sunset too
and see what HE has done for me and you.
HE gives us HIS grace to get us through each day
and gives HIS own power to help us along the way.

As we search the scripture pages we will see
the miracles HE has done since eternity.
He's helped us in life against evil to stand
being exalted by this earthly saintly band.
How refreshing it is to wake up each day
and being by HIS grace equipped to stay
close by HIS side in fellowship so sweet
bowing humbly before HIS kingly feet.

We have been transplanted to HIS family care
and we'll always be contented to be there
for Jesus came to bring us salvation free
purchased for us on that rugged old tree.
We are sheltered by HIM in that rocky cleft
even if we are the only ones left.
So sing a song unto the Lord of Hosts
and submit to the work of the Holy Ghost.

YE OLDE CHURCH

THE OLD CHURCH SITS JUST BEHIND THE AGE OLD TREES
ENSHROUDED IN THE DARKNESS ENDURING THE BREEZE.
FOR MANY YEARS IT HAS SAT UPON THAT OLD HILL
AND MANY A PERSON THERE HAS BY GOD BEEN FILLED.
MANY HAVE ATTENDED CHURCH IN THAT OLD BUILDING
AND EXPERIENCED THE JOY THEY LEARNED IN YIELDING.
TODAY, THERE IS NO LONGER ANY WORSHIPPING GOD THERE
AND THE OLD BUILDING HAS DECAYED BEING WITHOUT CARE.
IT'S USE HAS BEEN REPLACED BY A PROGRESSIVE CHURCH SITE
WITH MUCH ACTIVITY GOING ON BUT MUCH THAT IS NOT RIGHT.
THERE'S MUCH ENTERTAINMENT AND EXCITEMENT WITHOUT ANY LIFE CHANGE.
IT'S SAD TO SEE MANY OF THE PEOPLE LIVING SO DERANGED.
THEY SHARE THEIR SPOUSES AND CARE LESS WHAT THEIR CHILDREN WILL DO
AS LONG AS THEY CAN HAVE PROSPERITY AND DO THE FUN THINGS THEY LIKE TO.
ALL OF US ARE SINNERS IN SOME FORM WITHOUT BEING THE DEVIL'S TOY
BUT WE MUST WARN THE CHURCHES TO BE FILLED WITH CHRIST'S JOY.
THEN WE WILL SEE A CHANGE IN OUR FAMILY LIVES AND THIS NATION OF OURS
AND PEOPLE CAN SEE THE LIGHT OF GOD SHINING IN PURITY THROUOUT THE HOURS.
