                                       Who is Debura Struble?
I am 55 years old, I have a daughter who is 37 and she has three children. My husband will be 55 in Dec. We met in 1989 fell in love, we knew we were meant for each other. And others knew it too. My husband has two daughters ages 31 and 26,  They both have one child. We then had a son who is now 11. Nov. 1st was my Dad's birthday and he would have been 74. My Dad passed way two years ago on Valentine's Day, and seven months later my husband's younger sister passed away. They both had cancer. My Dad's was very aggressive as it showed up on x-ray as a small dot after having the flu, and then three days later it was full blown cancer and was given three days to live, I watched him die.
Before he went into a coma he tried to not let me worry and said, "Boy Deb, you just don't know what I have been through, but when I get better I will tell you all about it!" A couple of hours later he went into a coma, and two days later he died. It was appropriate that he die on Valentine's Day as that was exactly who my father was. He had joined the shriner's so he could be a clown and make people laugh.

And he did, kid's of all ages will miss "Glendora the Clown." My Dad Glenn E. Carter.

I love to sing so I guess that I got that from my Dad, Mom never did, She hummed once in awhile. I love taking pictures ! Landscapes are my favorite. Clouds, rainbows (We have plenty in Sequim) and things that are unusual, if I have my camera with me. IF I had my camera one day we would of enjoyed the sun shinning through the clouds with a ray that had a small rainbow at the end of it.

I am a great-grandmother to Morgan Dene' who is now 9 months old, my granddaughter will be 19 in Dec.

Sequim in the native language means "Quiet Waters" it's pronounced " Skwim."  We love it here, it is situated inside what they call the banana belt, called sunny Sequim because we have this big blue hole in the sky over us, and so most of the bad weather is rerouted to the north or east of us. Don't get me wrong we do get our fair share of rain and snow, etc.

We are close to the rainforest and less than 20 minutes to the national forest with all of the rivers and old trees and salmon runs, etc.

My husband is an ordained pastor, and we hold fellowship in our home on Wednesday, we love Jesus and enjoy sharing with others.

I have a new hobby they are called "Lavender Ladies," they are Pioneer Dolls made the same way as when the pioneers did. Not machine sewn. Also Sequim is known for its lavender so I found a new way to use it, in my dolls. Maybe I will take some pictures of them and post here. I do sell them off and on.

I love to cook and have many recipes that I have created myself, and will be sharing them with you.

My grandmother was a blue and red ribbon winner for her recipes so some of that rubbed off on to me.

'Til next time God Bless You Real Good!!!
