Small Gifts |
| Well, the weather here in Western Iowa has decided to
go from single digits to the 40°s and possibly even 50°s this week.
That kind of stops me from making my yearly peanut brittle. I don't like
making it unless it's cold. It gets too sticky in warm
weather. So, instead, I made gifts for all of my grandchildren;
real and daycare.
I took little reindeer mugs, added a packet of hot
cocoa mix, a candy cane and a flavored lip balm for every child.
Put it in a Christmas bag and tied them with Christmas ribbon. I put the
child's name on the name tag. Not expensive but enough to make each one
of them happy and feel special. I made twenty and had a few left
over mugs that I will make up and take to our local family shelter for
them to give away. |
