COLE SLAW--FRIDGE/FREEZER

Chop and shred:

  • 2 Large heads cabbage
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 onion (optional)

Mix together and set aside.

DRESSING:

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. celery seed

Heat dressing ingredients in pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. When cool add to cabbage mixture. Mix well. Store in freezer containers in freezer. Can also be stored in fridge for immediate use. Can be made in large amounts.
