I've been rushing around as you can imagine, lots of phone calls, visits, enquiries etc. etc., my first priorities are the animals of course.  I've been thinking what would be the absolute worst thing to come out of this, and it's the fact that I would have to leave with nowhere to go and nowhere for the animals, so I'm concentrating first on getting somewhere for them to go, so if the worst does happen, I'll know they are OK and I can find somewhere for myself afterwards.

I'm pleased so far, I've found a small field for the sheep, and next door to it a small goat paddock with a shelter, I've so happy to have found these !  and the guy says he won't charge me anything because of the circumstances, that's so kind of him.

Also got someone to take in a small flock of rescued miniature cockerels, that were destined to become live snake food !  I'm trying now to sort  a flock of Muscovy ducks, and a couple of bad tempered cockerels !  plus  sort the cats  out (5) that's going to be much more difficult, as I do want them to stay together, I've been enquiring at catteries (cat boarding centres?) but they would cost £500 GBP per month, that's almost as much as it would cost to rent a house !  and of course I can't afford that.  I'm going to try the Cats Protection League, a major cat charity here, explain the situation to them and see if they can take them for me, I will of course offer a donation and supply the food, if they can't do it, they may know somewhere else I can ask.  Anyway, the important thing is, I've got started and am achieving things in small steps.

I've also started packing, very sad but it has to be done, and I'm shutting off my mind, just working on auto-pilot.

I have an appointment to see my first property later today, I really can't afford it, but if they offer it to me I'll take it and worry about how to pay for it afterwards.  I think that if we are prepared to help ourselves, something always to seem to present itself, don't you ?

My son will be going with me on viewings, he can do all the talking, and he runs his own property maintenance business, so if a property needs work, he can negotiate on the rent for me in return for work done.

The next thing is to find storage for my furniture and 'stuff' I will have to get rid of lots I know, but must keep at least the bare minimum, storage here is very expensive also, so I'm asking around for folks to take the off piece of furniture for me, boxes etc.,

I'm thinking positive and am confident I will overcome this, just another 'blip' in my life.
