• 1 (18.25 oz) box cake mix I used Devil's Food for the chocolate and
• Plain White for the vanilla ones
• 1 egg
• 3/4 c. vegetable oil
• 1/4 c packed brown sugar (for Devils Food only)
• 2 cups chips of your choice (I used semi sweet chocolate)

Combine all ingredients in order given by hand. DO not use a mixer. Drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350* for about 7 minutes. Cool on cookies sheet at least 10 minutes before trying to move them or they'll break! each mix made exactly 3 dozen coolies.
