In search of the perfect final resting place.

Bit of a strange subject I know, and in case youre worried, no I am not ill, but like with most things in life I like to be prepared.

I have the perfect looking cemetery pictured in my head.  Its in the countryside, where it is peaceful, no main road near by as I want a bit of peace and quiet.  There are a lot of trees, so I can have shade, as with being fair skinned I hate to be in the sun for any length of time without being covered up.

If it has a field stone wall around it, and a nice iron gate that would be a bonus; although a regular fence would do I guess.  Also having lilac and honeysuckle in the graveyard would also be nice as the smell of those bushes is just lovely.  It would be helpful if there was a nice stone Anglican Church adjoined to the cemetery, but thats not a deal breaker.  Also I would like it, if someone actually took care of the church yard, cutting the grass etc.  I do not want to see a plastic solar light anywhere in the church yard, as that is a no-no, it just looks tacky having those plastic lights dotted everywhere.

So there you have it my perfect resting place.  Now the hard work begins trying to find it.  All those small perfect church yards in the countryside seem to be closing.  I have seen dozens of them, but they are closed; why, because as soon as the county takes over looking after them they close them down.

I saw the loveliest church yard the other day, but it was Catholic, not sure if they would take an Anglican?  The one in town is close to the road so is too noisy for me.  Someone suggested another church yard, but when I drove past it the other day they had built a new estate behind it, plus it too was on a busy road.

I am glad I have decided to start looking into this, as I have a feeling finding the perfect resting place is not going to be as easy as I thought it would be!!
