1\4 cup of water
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup
of confectioner's sugar
1
teaspoon of vanilla
3\4 chopped pecans ( I use a cup and a half of halves )
In
a medium pan, bring water and butter to a boil. Stir
in sugar. Return to boiling;
Boil and stir one minute.
Remove at once from heat; stir in vanilla and pecans.
Beat until mixture starts to thicken a little.
Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper.
Cool and store in covered container.

These make up quick so you need to have everything
ready before you start.

Don't even think about doubling your recipe.
3.
Do not over cook as they will be sugary.
